American Forensics Association Elects Prof. Robert Weiss Secretary-Treasurer

Weiss, assistant professor of speech at DePauw University, has been elected to a two-year term as secretary-treasurer of the American Forensics Association," reports this evening's Indianapolis News. "A national organization for college, university and high school debate coaches, the forensics association recently held its annual convention in Boston."

Professor Weiss received his B.A. (magna cum laude with honors) in speech from Albion College (1948), and an M.A. and Ph.D. from Northwestern University (1949 and 1954).

Before joining the DePauw faculty in 1955, Dr. Weiss taught at Wayne and Northwestern Universities.
