DePauw Drops Both Saturday Matches

September 1, 2007, Columbus, Ohio - DePauw dropped to 2-2 after losing both of its matches today at the Capital Invitational.
The Tigers lost to Heidelberg 3-1 (21-30, 30-28, 22-30, 28-30) and then fell to 16th-ranked Capital 3-0 (26-30, 22-30, 30-32).
In the Heidelberg match, Loren Sloan led the Tigers with 13 kills, while Kim Hamer added 12. Sarah Drew recorded 43 assists, while Emily Smith paced DePauw with three service aces and 21 digs. Hamer led the team with seven blocks.
Against Capital, Hamer led the way with 15 kills, while Drew had 24 assists. Smith totaled 15 digs with Adrienne Cobb totaling four blocks and Kate Carrico adding two aces.
DePauw returns to action on Friday, September 7, when it competes in the two-day Hanover Invitational.Back
