Tigers Top Quakers

September 9, 2007, Richmond, Ind. - The 16th-ranked Tigers improved to 2-3 on the season following a 3-1 win at Earlham. The Quakers dropped to 2-1-1 with the loss.
All of the game's goals came in the first half as Sarah McCord started the scoring just 2:44 into the contest on an assist form Jacki Ponder.
Sarah MacGregor made it 2-0 with an assist from Stephanie Patton at 23:47 before the Quakers cut the margin in half on Maddie Daskovsky's score off of Karman Duchon's assist at 26:12. Kristen McMahon extended the Tigers' lead and rounded out the scoring at 38:29 on an assist from Patton.
DePauw outshot Earlham 17-5 and held an 11-1 edge in corners. Brooke Shipley totaled three saves for the Tigers, while Earlham's JoBeth Buckley finished with seven.
The Tigers travel to Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday.Back
