DePauw Stays Unbeaten in SCAC with Shutout Win over Millsaps

October 7, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw's Adam Davis scored just 59 seconds into the contest and gave the Tigers all they would need in a 6-0 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference win over visiting Millsaps. The Tigers improved to 8-2-1 overall and 3-0 in the conference, while the Majors dropped to 3-8 overall and 1-5 in the SCAC play.
Davis assisted Scott Noel on the Tigers' second goal and then scored his second of the game on Noel's assist to make it 3-0 midway thorugh the first half. Noel added his second assist on Mike Harris' goal early in the second half before Martin Cheramie made it 5-0 on an assist from Kaes Kamman. Sean Teska rounded out the scoring at 77:44 on an assist from Cheramie.
DePauw outshot Millsaps 30-4 and held a 4-2 edge in corners. John Fenley recorded two saves and shared the Tigers' fifth shutout with Ted Jacobi. Jake Milner finished with 11 saves for the Majors.
The Tigers travel to Oglethorpe on Friday, October 12, for a 3 p.m. contest.
