Anti-Defamation League to Honor Tim Solso '69

November 27, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - "Tim Solso, chairman and chief executive officer of Cummins, will be honored Thursday in Indianapolis by the Anti-Defamation League with the Man of Achievement Award," notes Susan Guyett's column in today's Indianapolis Star. Solso is a 1969 graduate of DePauw and a member of the University's Board of Trustees. "Tickets to the dinner at the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis are $400 each, and the evening will include a performance by Memphis, Tenn.-based dance troupe Watoto De' Africa," adds the "Talk of Our Town" column.

Last month, Tim Solso received his alma mater's Old Gold Goblet. On June 27, Solso accepted the International Executive of the Year award from the Academy of International Business (AIB). Sixteen days earlier, he was presented with the 2007 American Business Award for "Best Chairman."
