November 13, 1937
November 13, 1937, Crawfordsville, Ind. - DePauw University's football team mowed over Wabash College and spoiled homecoming for their rivals to the north, winning the sixth battle for the Monon Bell by a 32-0 score. The margin of victory is the largest in 25 years for the rivalry which began in 1890.
With the victory, DePauw finishes the 1937 season with a 7-1 record and possession of the bell for the first time since the undefeated, untied and unscored upon 1933 Tiger squad defeated Wabash.
DePauw scored one touchdown in each of the first three quarters and added two in the final stanza.
