Carol Simmons goes on to note that Beckel "is the principal trombonist for the Indianapolis Symphony, in addition to Musical Note.jpgserving on the music faculties at DePauw University and the University of Indianapolis."

The concerts will take place Thursday and Saturday at the Schuster Center. Professor Beckel will present a talk an hour before each of the concerts.
