12th-ranked DePauw Hosts Rhodes; Think Pink this Weekend

February 8, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - The 17-3 Tigers, ranked 12th by D3hoops.com and 13th in the latest USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Poll, return home for a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest tonight as they host Rhodes College.
Tipoff from the Neal Fieldhouse in DePauw's Lilly Center is set for 6 p.m. DePauw is 10-0 in SCAC play, while the Lynx are 10-10 overall and 3-7 in the conference.
The WGRE (91.5FM) broadcast is available, while game notes can be downloaded. The game can also be followed through live stats.
Tonight's game and Sunday's 1 p.m. contest against Birmingham-Southern are part of "Think Pink Weekend" as the women's basketball program supports the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's initiative to raise breast cancer awareness.
Fans attending the games, can take part in the following:
> Wear pink in honor and/or memory of family members and friends who have been impacted by breast cancer.
> Honor or remember those who have been touched by breast cancer by putting their names in the circle at no charge. Details will be available at the Neal Fielhouse entrance.
> Participate in the Give Five Campaign. The members of the DePauw women’s basketball team will each give $5 to the cause before both the Friday and Sunday games. The players challenge everyone in attendance to do the same.
