Make it Seven Straight Wins for Both Basketball Teams

February 9, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - "The hosts won their 38th straight SCAC game while improving to 18-3 on the season and 11-0 in league play," reports the Memphis Commercial Appeal of last night's 78-50 win by DePauw University's women's basketball team over Rhodes College. The same column notes the Tiger men's "lopsided" 87-56 triumph over visiting Rhodes, improving the team's record to 17-4 overall and 9-2 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference. The wins were the seventh straight for both victors.
The two DePauw squads are back in action at the Lilly Center tomorrow afternoon versus Birmingham-Southern. The contests can be heard live via student radio station WGRE
