Indianapolis Minyo Dancers Perform Here March 4

Indianapolis Minyo Dancers.jpgFebruary 27, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - Traditional Japanese Folk dance comes to DePauw University on Tuesday, March 4, as the Indianapolis Minyo Dancers bring their talents to campus. The performance, which is free and open to the public, begins at 7 p.m. in Meharry Hall of historic East College.

The Indianapolis Minyo Dancers focus their artistic efforts to bring the beauty and grace of the Japanese dance to festivals, schools, churches, martial arts tournaments, corporations and private functions. The performance -- which is suitable for all ages -- is sponsored by by the Office of Multicultural Affairs, ASIA (Association of Students Interested in Asia) Club and the International Student Association.
