Todd Carter '98 Named Assistant Football Coach at University of Indianapolis

March 18, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - Todd Carter, a 1998 graduate of DePauw University, has been named an assistant football coach at the University of Indianapolis and will oversee the offensive line. Carter comes to his new post after three seasons at Saginaw Valley State University, where he was in charge of the offenisve line and was the team's run game coordinator.
Today's announcement from UIndy notes that Carter is a "former letterwinner at DePauw" who has also coached at North Park University in Chicago; Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin; the University of Connecticut; "and also at his alma mater DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind. from 1998-2000."
It also points out, "Carter received his bachelor's degree in history with a minor in physical education and secondary education from DePauw in 1998. He received his master's degree in secondary education from Indiana State University in 2002. Carter was a four-year varsity letterman and a two-year starter at center and tackle at DePauw. He was named the team captain and named all-conference at center in 1997."
