Tigers Shoot Best Postseason Round in Program History; Stay in Third at NCAA Championships

May 15, 2008, Waverly, Iowa - The ninth-ranked Tigers posted their best NCAA round in program history as they fired a 310 to stay in third place after three rounds ot the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships at the Centennial Oaks Golf Course.

Methodist leads with a 915, while Southwestern is second at 942 and DePauw is third with a 945. The tournament wraps up on Friday.

Ali Murtaugh shot a 76 today and is tied for sixth with a 227, while Kristen Kriegshauser fired a 74 and is tied for ninth at 229.

Nikki Garza is tied for 52nd with a 246 and shot an 81 in the third round followed by Natalie Gough in a tie for 86th with a 258 including today's 86. Erin Kielty shot a 79 today to round out the Tigers' scorers. Methodist's Susan Martin leads the field with a 221 after shooting a 75 today.
