Today the company announced the completion of a major network expansion into Putnam County. "The company's multi-million dollar network investment, which includes building 16 new cell sites, also provides continuous coverage along Interstate 70 across Indiana," notes an item at Yahoo! Finance.

"Our customers choose Verizon Wireless and stay with us because we deliver on our promise to provide the most reliable network," says Greg Haller, president of the company's Indiana/Kentucky/Michigan region. "This major expansion across Putnam County reflects that commitment. We'll continue investing in our network here in Indiana as well as across the nation so that our customers can rely on their wireless phones everywhere they go."
