Late Drop Kick Lifts DePauw Over Rival Wabash College, 3-0
November 16, 1914
November 16, 1914, Greencastle, Ind. - A fourth quarter drop kick by DePauw halfback Hank Rowan (pictured at left) provided the only scoring in the annual football rivalry game with Wabash College, as the University's team celebrated a 3-0 victory this afternoon at McKeen Field. Rowan's boot came from the 25 yard line as DePauw shut out the men from Crawfordsville for a second consecutive year.
The win ups the season record of DePauw and head coach Tom Bogle to 4-4, while their foes from the north fall to 5 and 2.
