Wabash Claims 11-4 Win in Latest Chapter of Football Rivalry
November 4, 1907
November 4, 1907, Crawfordsville, Ind. - DePauw University's football team played a tough first half, but the favored foes from Wabash College prevailed this afternoon at Ingalls Field, 11-4. The home team dented the scoreboard with a touchdown, two drop kicks, and a safety to claim victory in the game with their rivals to the south.
A contingent of 225 DePauw fans made the trip to enemy territory for today's contest, which was played in ideal weather conditions. They paraded toward the field chanting, "Wahoo! Wahoo! Rip-zip-bazoo! I yell, I yell, DPU!"
