Performance by David McMillin '06 "Captures Heart" of Shreveport Writer
August 8, 2008
August 8, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - David McMillin's "singing is good, gruff and strong in comparison to his soft speaking voice," writes Stephanie Netherton in the Shreveport Times. "The words he writes and sings have the same effect. They're simple but manage to softly capture your heart."
McMillin, a 2006 graduate of DePauw University, recently performed in Louisiana. Netherton states, "My waiter was disappointed when I told him I was content with just a glass of wine a few Tuesday nights ago at Jayne Marie on Cross Lake. I wasn't there to eat despite it being a great place to enjoy steak or seafood. I would have eaten if forced. I would have at least ordered a steak if that was the only way I could have gotten a table and listened to David McMillin that night."
