Wabash Footballers Outplay DePauw Eleven, 6-0
October 19, 1895
October 19, 1895, Crawfordsville, Ind. - The fast and aggressive home team playing at Wabash College's Philistine Field today was too much for DePauw University's squad to handle, as the rivals to the north claimed a 6-0 victory in the fall football battle.
The DePauw team, led by new coach Frank E. Wade, falls to 1-1 on the young season after an opening victory over Kentucky State. Next week's scheduled foe is the University of Missouri.
