Tigers Enter Season Ranked Seventh in Division III

September 1, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - With the return of six of the seven runners who helped lead the Tigers to a program-best seventh-place finish at last year's NCAA Division III Championships, DePauw has established a new program high as the team is ranked seventh in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's Division III Cross Country national poll.

The Tigers totaled 232 points, while Amherst topped the rankings with all eight first-place votes and 280 points. Luther was second followed by Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Calvin, Geneseo St. and Washington-St. Louis.

DePauw opens the 2008 season on Saturday, September 6, at the Wabash Hokum Karem meet.
