DePauw Dispenses with Wabash in 42-4 Football Romp

November 5, 1892, Greencastle, Ind. - Today's third scheduled meeting on the football field between DePauw University and Wabash College ended as the first two did, with the men from Greencastle victorious. DePauw won last year's game by forfeit, and claimed the initial matchup in 1890 by a 34-5 mark. A train carrying the Wabash team and about 30 other students from the college arrived in Greencastle at 2:20 this afternoon. The opening kickoff took place an hour and ten minutes later.
DePauw scored first and led 22-4 at halftime.
