Women's Golf Team Takes Second at Anderson Invitational

Golf Driver Ball.jpgSeptember 8, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw University's women's golf team finished "second with a 630 (306-324)" at the Anderson Golf Fall Invitational at the Killbuck Golf Course over the weekend, reports Indiana's Madison Courier. "Olivet (Mich.) fired a two-round total of 622 (307-315), led by Amber Conrad's medalist total of 151 (76-75), to win the event," notes the newspaper.

DePauw's Nikki Garza finished second with a 153, while Natalie Gough tied for fifth with a 158 and equaled a tournament-best 74 in the first round.
