DePauw Returns to SCAC Play at Trinity

etzcorntd101108.jpgOctober 15, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - The 4-1 Tigers return to Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play when they travel to San Antonio, Texas, to face 5-0 Trinity University. DePauw is 2-1 in SCAC action, while Trinity is 2-0. Kickoff from E.M. Stevens Stadium is set for 1:30 p.m. CDT.

The Tigers are coming off a 31-21 home win over Birmingham-Southern and are 4-1 for the fourth straight season.

Ranked in a tie for 11th by the American Football Coaches Association and 18th by d3football.com, Trinity is coming off last Saturday's 17-0 home win over Rhodes.

Trinity has won all nine previous meetings in the series which began in 1998 including last season's 43-28 victory in Greencastle. In the last contest in San Antonio, the Texas Tigers won by a 26-15 count.
