Angie Hicks '95 is "A Woman Who Rules," According to SF Chronicle
November 25, 2008
November 25, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - "A woman who rules: That would be Angie Hicks," reports the San Francisco Chronicle of the 1995 DePauw University graduate. "She's the founder of Angie's List, where you find the plumber or roofer your neighbors recommend most -- and least. The Indianapolis Web site says it has 750,000 registered users signed up in 124 U.S. cities."
Columnist Andrew S. Ross writes that Hicks' firm "snagged $18 million in harder-to-find venture capital from Menlo Park's Lighthouse Capital Partners. That's on top of the $35 million from Menlo Park's Battery Ventures earlier this year."
