HS Yearbook Edited by DePauw Freshman is Finalist in National Competition

Library Snow December 2005.jpgDecember 21, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. — The high school yearbook co-edited by Stephanie Grass, now a DePauw University freshman, is a finalist "in the 2009 edition of the annual Crown competition sponsored by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association," notes the Indianapolis Star. Carmel High School's Pinnacle is the only high school yearbook from Indiana to reach finalist status.

"According to a statement from the CSPA, a total of 1,771 newspapers, magazines and yearbooks published during the 2007-2008 academic year were eligible in the 2009 Crown Awards program," the report points out. "Crown Award finalists are guaranteed to receive either a Gold or Silver Crown Award in March, when presentations are made at Columbia University in New York City."
