Sorg Named to NSCAA All-Region Team

January 5, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — After earning second team all-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference honors, DePauw junior defender Beau Sorg has garnered all-region accolades.
Sorg was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America all-Great Lakes Region Third Team. He anchored a defense that allowed just 13 goals this season for the 8-4-6 Tigers.
DePauw finished 21st in NCAA Division III in team goals against average at 0.66 and were 28th in shutout percentage as the Tigers blanked nine of their 18 opponents.
