Moore Claims Second Straight SCAC Weekly Honor

January 12, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — For the second straight week, DePauw senior guard Mike Moore has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
Moore scored a season-high 31 points in DePauw's 96-72 win over Rhodes. He connected on 8-of-17 shots, including 5-of-11 from beyond the arc along with five rebounds and four assists.
For the week, Moore averaged 29.5 points per game and shot 44.4 percent from three-point range (8-18) and connected on 17-of-33 shots from the floor (51.5 percent). He also averaged six rebounds and four assists per game.
Moore leads the Tigers with 19.6 points and 4.1 assists per game and has hit a team-high 36 three-pointers. The SCAC's all-time assists leader ranks second in DePauw history in assists with 516 and is 15th in scoring with 1,254 career points.
DePauw is 10-4 overall and shares the SCAC Eastern Division lead with a 3-1 conference record. The Tigers return to action on Friday, January 16, when they host Austin College at 6 p.m. That game can be heard on with WGRElive stats also available.
