AAA Michigan Re-Elects Stephen Ewing '65 as Board Chair

February 3, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — Stephen E. Ewing, a 1965 graduate of DePauw University, was today re-elected for a one-year term as chair of the board of directors of the Automobile Club of Michigan (AAA Michigan). The organization represents more than 1.6-million members; Ewing's election took place at AAA Michigan's board meeting in Dearborn.
Ewing is former vice-chair of DTE Energy, and before that was president and chief executive officer of DTE Energy Gas. He has served on AAA Michigan's board since 1998 and as chair since 2007.
After graduating from DePauw, where he majored in English literature, Ewing received an M.B.A. from Michigan State University and an advanced management 
degree from the Harvard School of Business Administration.
