Dennis Trinkle '91 Joins C/D/H Board of Directors

Dennis Trinkle.jpgFebruary 27, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — Dennis A. Trinkle, executive director of the Indiana Higher Education Telecommunication System (IHETS) and 1991 graduate of DePauw University, has been appointed to the board of directors of C/D/H, a leading Michigan information technology consulting firm. The company announced today that Dr. Trinkle and two others are joining the board.

"[The new appointees] bring to our board a diversity of thought that is exceedingly valuable as we consider the direction of the company's continuing growth," said C/D/H chairman Keith Dierking. "We are very pleased to have these quality people agree to share with us their talents and experience."

Trinkle formerly served as chief information officer at DePauw and Valparaiso Universities. He is the former executive director of the American Association for History and Computing and has been a Fellow of the Frye Leadership Institute and International Center for Computer-Enhanced Learning at Wake Forest University.

Dennis Trinkle April2006.jpgIn addition to his B.A. from DePauw, Dennis Trinkle received an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati, and the M.B.A. in marketing and technology management from the University of Phoenix. He has authored several books, including The History Highway: A Guide to Internet Resources and Writing, Teaching, and Researching History in the Electronic Age.
