McKim Observatory June 2009.jpgJune 24, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — "The public is invited to join Historic Landmarks' Western Regional Office in Greencastle on July 10 for a moveable feast and annual meeting, offering tempting cuisine in historic sites," reports the Banner-Graphic. "Dessert from Almost Home will be served at DePauw University's McKim Observatory at 8:30 p.m."

Still outfitted with an 1885 Clark Refractor telescope, the landmark remains in use by DePauw students, researchers, and the public as it undergoes a phased restoration. It is located on DePauw Ave. north of Franklin St."
