Pro Golfer Jessica Schneider '04 Noted in Chicago Tribune

July 5, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — Jessica Schneider, a 2004 graduate of DePauw University, tied for 57th place at the Horseshoe Casino Classic at Lost Marsh Golf Course in Hammond, Indiana. The event, which took place June 23-28, is part of the Duramed FUTURES Tour, which is the official development tour of the LPGA.

The Chicago Tribune notes that Schneider shot a 231 (+15). "Her play was also steady throughout the three days in Hammond, as she fired a 77-76-78. Schneider played her college golf at DePauw, where she was a two-time first-team Division III All-American (in 2003-04). During her time at DePauw, she won eight tournaments. Schneider has been playing on the Duramed FUTURES Tour since 2005 and has made the cut in her last three tournaments."
