Meanwhile, today's
Gary Post-Tribune notes Pat Herrod, a spring graduate of Chesterton High School, in an article on golf instructor Mat Blair. "Herrod, the Trojans' No. 5 golfer, was inspired by Blair to actually try to walk on at DePauw next year," reports Mike Hutton.
Herrod tells the newspaper, "The biggest thing I learned from him is to treat golf like a sport, not a science."
