Robby_Long_2006_action.jpgSeptember 3, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — As DePauw University's football Tigers prepare for their September 12 opener at Anderson, "interim coach Robby Long, who served as defensive coordinator last year, inherits 41 lettermen from an 8-2 season," reports today's Gary Post-Tribune. "His 17 returning starters include junior tackle Tyler Doane (Valparaiso), who sprinkled 4.5 tackles for loss among 24 total stops, and Lake Central grads Adam Hill (Crown Point) and P.J. Gbur (Schererville)."

John Mutka adds, "Hill, a third-year punter, averaged 36.5 yards and was credited with six touchbacks. Gbur picked up 12 solos and swiped two passes, returning one for a touchdown." Video Link [Download Video: "Gbur Goes the Distance vs. Wabash" - 1109kb]
