Prof. Thomas Fitzpatrick to Help Dedicate Alma Mater's New Building

thomas fitzpatrick 2.jpgApril 7, 1971, Greencastle, Ind. — Professor Thomas Fitzpatrick will return to his alma mater in Davenport, Iowa, next month to appear as a guest soloist in a concert marking the opening and dedication of St. Ambrose College's new Fine Arts Building. Fitzpatrick, who teaches voice in the DePauw University School of Music, will be guest tenor soloist with the Tri-City Symphony in Mozart's Grand Mass.

Helen Vanni, a metropolitan mezzo soprano, will also appear in the May 8-9 programs at the Iowa College.

Fitzpatrick earned his B.A. from St. Ambrose in 1963. He received his B.M. at Juilliard and joined the DePauw music faculty in 1963.
