Dick Notches Second Straight SCAC Weekly Honor

October 12, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw senior quarterback Spud Dick has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Football Offensive Player of the Week for the second straight week after his performance in the Tigers' 52-26 win at Rhodes.
Dick completed 25-of-36 passes for 343 yards and a school-record six touchdowns with no interceptions. He posted a season-high efficiency rating of 204.48 which was the second-best of his career and tops for games with at least 20 attempts. It also marked his third game this year, in four starts with an efficiency rating above 200.
He moved into fifth place in the SCAC’s all-time passing yardage list and moved into sixth place in total offense. Dick’s is two touchdown passes away from moving into a tie for fifth place in conference history.
The 4-1 Tigers are off this weekend, but return to action on Saturday, October 24, when they host Trinity at 1 p.m.
