Chamber Singers to Perform at American Choral Directors Association Conference

Chamber Singers Apr2009a.JPGNovember 30, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — The DePauw University Chamber Singers have been invited to perform at the American Choral Directors Association Central Division Conference in Cincinnati on Thursday, February 25, 2010. The DePauw singers will join other top college, high school, professional and amateur choirs throughout Indiana, Ohio in a program in the Hall of Mirrors of the Hilton Cincinnati Netherlands Plaza.

The Chamber Singers will perform excerpts from Rachmaninov's Vespers. which the ensemble presented at the 'Art at All Saints' festival in Indianapolis in November 2008.Musical Note.jpg

Founded in 1959, the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) is a nonprofit music education organization whose central purpose is to promote excellence in choral music through performance, composition, publication, research, and teaching. In addition, ACDA strives through arts advocacy to elevate choral music's position in American society.
