Runion Named SCAC Swimmer of the Week

December 14, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw sophomore Brogan Runion has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week for his performance at the DePauw Invitational.
Runion won the 100- and 200-yard butterfly at the DePauw Invitational and notched NCAA "B" times in both events. He swam a 1:54.60 in the 200 fly and posted a 51.20 in the 100 fly.
Runion also swam the 50 fly on the 200 medley relay which posted an NCAA B time of 1:34.31, while tallying a 22.965 split.
The Tigers won the Invitational for the fifth time in the last six years and are ranked 19th in the latest D3swimming.com poll.
