DePauw Women Move into Top 20 of Both National Hoops Polls

20100206_140820A.JPGFebruary 10, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — After extending their win streak to 14 with Saturday's 68-50 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference win over Centre, the 18-3 Tigers moved up three spots to 19th in both Division III national polls.

DePauw totaled 151 points in the Top 25 rankings and garnered 39 points in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Poll.

Two of the Tigers' three losses this season have come to Washington-St. Louis (6th Coaches'/7th D3hoops) and Thomas More (14th Coaches'/16th D3hoops).

Since the Top 25 poll debuted in 1999, DePauw has been ranked in the top 25 in 123 of the 166 polls and received votes in 162 of 166.

DePauw returns to action on Friday, February 12, when it travels to Sewanee for a 6 p.m. CST contest. WGRE (91.5 FM) will carry the game live with live stats available here.
