Prof. Bob Hershberger Publishes Viajes

March 9, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — Robert P. Hershberger, associate professor and chair of modern languages (Spanish) at DePauw University, is co-author of an introductory Spanish textbook, Viajes: Introducción al español. Published by Cengage Learning, the text is co-authored by Susan Navey-Davis (North Carolina State University) and Guiomar Borrás A. (Glendale Community College).
The new book "immerses students in the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world without overwhelming them with superfluous material," notes the publisher.

Bob Hershberger is also Tenzer Family University Professor in Instructional Technology at DePauw. In 2004-05, he received the Exemplary Teaching Award, given jointly by DePauw University and the General Board of Higher Education of the United Methodist Church.
Dr. Hershberger's intermediate Spanish textbook, Rumbos, has recently come out in its second edition.Back
