Prof. Pauline Ota Receives Grant from Japan Foundation

Ota, assistant professor of art history at DePauw University, has been awarded a summer research grant by the Japan Foundation.  The professor will use the award to spend 43 days in Japan during June and July conducting research at archives and museums in Tokyo and Kyoto. 

The Japan Foundation is Japan's leading public organization dedicated to international cultural exchange. It fosters greater awareness and understanding of Japan in the U.S. and around the world through a broad range of programs for individuals and institutions encompassing arts and culture, Japanese Studies and intellectual exchange, and Japanese language education.
