DePauw Finishes Year #26 in Directors' Cup Standings; Tops in Indiana

learfielddirectorscuplogo.jpegJune 28, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw University -- which had two teams finish in the top six in their respective NCAA Championships and seven others in the top 20 -- has concluded the 2009-10 academic year as 26th in the Learfield Sports Directors' Cup Division III standings. Launched in 1995-96, the Directors' Cup is a program which honors institutions maintaining a broad-based program and achieving success in both men's and women's sports.

With 527.25 total points, DePauw recorded its eighth top-40 finish overall and sixth straight in the 15-year history of the program. The Tigers' 26th-place showing also marked DePauw Pennant Black on Gold.jpgthe 15th time in as many years that DePauw ranked ahead of all other Indiana Division III institutions.

Williams College (Massachusetts) topped the 2009-10 Directors' Cup rankings.
