Bill Martinov.jpgApril 8, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — An essay by William E. Martinov Jr., executive dean of student services and leadership at Mercy College in New York, is published in the April edition of College Planning & Management. Dr. Martinov, a 1986 graduate of DePauw University, offers an assessment of the Mercy College Personalized Achievement Contract (PACT), which he calls "a revolutionary program designed to maximize student success through a multi-faceted collaboration between the student and the college."

Enrollment at Mercy has increased by more than 12% since 2007, notes Martinov, who writes that the "expansion at Mercy College is also due in part to the wide range of academic choices the College presents to students -- more than 90 graduate and undergraduate degree programs, including many new offerings that specifically address 21st-century academic and employment trends."
