Harris fellow recipient. Perkins returned to Racine and was the chief financial officer for ACME Die Cast Corp. for more than a decade. In 1986, he moved on to Racine Federated Inc. as a director, becoming vice president and chief financial officer in May 1990. On July 1, 2008, Perkins was appointed president of Racine Federated Inc. and continues in that position today."
The text continues, "In addition to his business accomplishments, he has held numerous volunteer positions, most notably serving as chairman of Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce, chairman of the All Saints Health Care/Wheaton Franciscan system, president of the Racine Community Foundation and campaign chair of the Racine United Way."
