James Newman '70 Joins TD Equipment Finance

August 26, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — James R. Newman, a 1970 graduate of DePauw University, has been appointed a senior underwriter at TD Equipment Finance in Vienna, Virginia.

Newman brings 34 years of experience in banking, leasing and credit management to his new post. He's previously worked in credit management positions at Virginia Commerce Bank, LaSalle National Leasing, GE Capital, BancNew England Leasing and Citicorp Industrial Credit.

After graduating from DePauw with a degree in business administration, Newman went on to earn master's degrees from Johns Hopkins University and Northern Illinois University.
