#20 DePauw Remains Unbeaten in SCAC with Shutout Win over Hendrix

October 10, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. —  Ben Hazen's goal early in the second half on a double assist from Sam Meyer and Kreigh Kamman lifted 20th-ranked DePauw to a 1-0 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference win over visiting Hendrix.

The Tigers improved to 11-1-1 overall and 5-0-1 in SCAC play, while the Warriors dropped to 4-6 overall and 0-5 in the conference.

After a scoreless first half, the Tigers scored the eventual game-winner just 4:31 into the second half. DePauw held a 9-8 edge in shots and  a 7-2 margin in corners.

Nate Sprenkel totaled two saves in posting the Tigers' 10th shutout of the season. Adam Legg had three saves for Hendrix.

The Tigers return to action on Friday, October 15, when they travel to Austin for a 2 p.m. CDT contest.
