DePauw Improves to 8-5 with Women's Soccer Win at Dallas

October 17, 2010, Dallas, Texas — Angela Cotherman scored a pair of goals and led DePauw to a 4-2 win at the University of Dallas. The Tigers improved to 8-5 with the win, while Dallas dropped to 3-9-1.
Cotherman scored the game's first goal at 19:50 and its last with less than four minutes remaining. Dana Sprague's goal at 27:54 gave DePauw a 2-0 lead before Dallas' Claire Sexton made it 2-1 with less than three minutes remaining in the half.
Julia Drummond pushed the DePauw lead to 3-2 with a score at 50:53 before Cotherman added the insurance score.
DePauw outshot Dallas 43-5 and held a 6-1 edge in corners. Lauren Palfrey recorded one save in the first half and Caroline Kerr finished in goal for the Tigers by playing the final 45 minutes. Dallas' Brigid Hasson totaled 12 saves.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, October 23, when they travel to Centre for a 5 p.m. contest.
