Late First Half Goal Gives 14th-ranked Tigers Win over Colorado College

October 17, 2010, Colorado Springs, Colo. —  Derek O'Grady's goal with just 2:23 left in the first half was all 14th-ranked DePauw needed in blanking Colorado College for the team's 11th shutout of the season.

DePauw improved to 13-1-1 overall and 7-0-1 in SCAC play, while Colorado College dropped to 6-7-2 overall and 4-4 in the SCAC.

O'Grady's goal came on an assist from Chris Taljan. The Tigers held a 9-8 edge in shots and each team had five corners.

DePauw's Nate Sprenkel recorded three saves, while Andy McGhie had four for Colorado College.

The Tigers return to action on Saturday, October 23, when they travel to Centre for a 7 p.m. contest.
