Ripley, a member of DePauw University's Class of 1985, was praised for her "nakedly anguished performance" in Next to Normal by the New York Times. Playbill wrote that Ripley "gives what might be the most remarkable performance since Christine Ebersole's Edie Beale."
Earlier this month, Ripley performed in the Broadway Cabaret Festival at New York City's Town Hall. A Times review can be found here.
