Tigers Suffer Season's First Shutout in Loss at Rhodes

October 22, 2010, Memphis, Tenn. —  Host Rhodes scored once in each half and became the first team to shut out DePauw as the Lynx claimed a 2-0 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference victory. DePauw dropped to 10-5 overall and 4-2 in the SCAC, while Rhodes improved to 13-1 overall and 6-0 in the conference.

Sarah Kennedy gave Rhodes a 1-0 lead on an assist from Katie Faucher at 22:05 before Lindsey Gurkovich scored on a Libby Jones assist early in the second half.

Rhodes outshot DePauw 16-5 and held a 7-6 advantage in penalty corners. Liz Attewell had one save for DePauw, while Sarah Dockery totaled two for Rhodes.

DePauw travels to Hendrix on Sunday for an 11 a.m. CDT contest.
