Miami Heat VP Eve Wright '96 Speaks at Cheyney University

December 6, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — Eve Wright, vice president and associate general counsel for the National Basketball Association's Miami Heat and 1996 graduate of DePauw University, presented a lecture at Cheyney University of Pennsylvania today. Her address "Championship Seasons: Discovering the Winner In
You," examined "life as an NBA Executive and how to
move up the road to success and achievement," according to the school.
Wright is in her third season with the Heat. She was previously the senior director
of business and legal affairs for the Ladies Professional Golf
Association (LPGA) and was an associate in the
Minneapolisoffice of Fredrikson & Byron, P.A.
An economics major at DePauw, Wright has served her alma mater as a member of the Alumni Board. She earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University School of Law and participated in the Consortium Program at Howard University School of Law.
