#11 DePauw Women Face John Carroll in Today's Amy Hasbrook Tourney Title Game

December 29, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — The 11th-ranked and 8-2 DePauw women's basketball team hosts John Carroll University today in the Amy Hasbrook Memorial Tournament championship game. Tipoff from the Neal Fieldhouse in DePauw's Lilly Center is set for 5 p.m. Ripon (4-4) and Rose-Hulman (3-7) square off in the 3 p.m. third-place game.
DePauw was a 60-33 winner over Rose-Hulman yesterday, while John Carroll topped Ripon, 79-75.
The tournament honors the memory of Amy Hasbrook '00, a four-year member
of the DePauw women's basketball program who lost her life in a house
fire on February 4, 2002.
All tournament proceeds will go to the People's Burn Foundation of Indianapolis, in Amy's hometown. Admission suggestions per day are $5 adults, $3 senior citizens and high school/college students. The monies will be directed to Brave Hearts Camp, which promotes Healing through Encouragement, Acceptance, Respect, Togetherness & Sanctity.
