Scott Reasoner '09 Appointed Sales Manager for Baseball's Great Falls Voyagers

90103January 25, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. — M. Scott Reasoner, a 2009 graduate of DePauw University, has been appointed sales manager for the Great Falls Voyagers, a minor league baseball team based in Great Falls, Montana.  The team is affiliated with the Chicago White Sox and plays in the Pioneer League.

Reasoner, a history major at DePauw, comes to his new post from Montgomery, Alabama, where he was group sales representative for the Montgomery Biscuits, a AA affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays. Reasoner previously worked for the AAA farm club of the Atlanta Braves in Gwinnett, Georgia, and for the Lake County Black Bears in Leesburg, Florida.

90104The addition of Reasoner to the Voyagers' staff "will provide great value to the club both in serving our strong base of sponsors and our loyal, dedicated fans," says Vinney Purpura, president of the Great Falls Baseball Club.

In 2006, he was among a group of DePauw student journalists who flew to Washington with former congressman Lee Hamilton '52 and conducted an in-flight interview of the man who co-chaired the 9/11 Commission and Iraq Study Group.
